About Me

Greetings,
I am Tatyanna McCray, a public relations scholar with a double minor in business administration (marketing track) and criminal justice from Florida A&M University. I am passionate about combining marketing, public relations, and journalism to build a dynamic and creative career path. I aim to help future clients develop their brands, plan events, and successfully launch projects.
I have developed valuable skills that continue to strengthen my professional portfolio through internships with Smithsonian, Open Campus, and FAMU TV 20 News. In each role, I contributed creatively and strategically to overarching goals, providing a strong emphasis of communication, collaboration, and visual storytelling.
As I continue curating my dream career, I look forward to expanding my network, traveling, and gaining new experiences. I plan to use my PR background as a foundation while growing within the creative and communications industries. I am especially interested in exploring how PR professionals create engaging, meaningful experiences and innovative projects.
To me, public relations is rooted in communication, creativity, and long-term impact. As an aspiring visual communications director and freelance journalist, I hope to produce accurate, compelling content that informs, motivates, and inspires diverse audiences.
